Confirmation Fee - $50 (8th Grade)

 

 

All students enrolled in Faith Formation at Sacred Heart Catholic Church must be registered members of the parish, or provide a letter from their pastor granting permission for them to be enrolled in Faith Formation at Sacred Heart.  Priority is given to Sacred Heart parishioners.

 

Families registered with nearby parishes may register after August 15, provided space is available.

 

When a student is enrolled in Faith Formation at Sacred Heart for the first time, a copy of their Baptism Certificate must be provided to be kept in their records, unless they were baptized at Sacred Heart.  This copy will suffice as proof of Baptism for the reception of First Penance, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation.  The address of the church of baptism must also be provided, if not printed on the certificate.  Baptism Certificates are due at least one week prior to the first day of class. Students will not be granted course access without record of their Baptism.

 

Students who transfer from another parish faith formation program must provide record of their last grade completed, attendance, grades (if applicable), and any Sacraments received.  These records should be submitted as soon as possible and no later than one week prior to the first day of class.  Students without the necessesary records may be required to take a placement test prior to begining their coursework.

 

 

Payment must be made by cash or check through the Faith Formation Office or mailed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 12975 Purcell Rd., Manassas, VA 20112, Attn: Faith Formation.  For cash, please have exact change.  Make checks payable to Sacred Heart.  Registration is not complete without payment.  If the tuition or fees present a hardship for your family, please contact Nicole Filipowski, Director of Faith Formation, at 703-590-0256 or nfilipowski@shcva.org.
