Salesforce Administrator Training

Revitalize your technology skill set and translate your professional experience for today’s market. JVS is teaming up with Salesforce to give you everything you need to pass the globally recognized Salesforce Administrator Certification Exam and secure one of the most in-demand positions in tech. We’re looking for job seekers with backgrounds in IT, sales, or other complementary fields. Competitive applicants will have specialized industry knowledge and an understanding of business processes or project management.

To apply for one of the 25 available spots, please complete this 15-minute application to help us learn more about you and whether this free training might be a good fit. This program is designed for people who have been out of work or underemployed for at least 6 months (though we encourage all job seekers to apply). If you are not selected, JVS staff will suggest other programs to assist your job search.

Is it time to give your job search a boost?

Kick off or relaunch your job search in JVS’s Job Search Accelerator.  This program starts with 36 hours of in-person job search essentials training, followed by weekly group meetings, and opportunities to meet one-on-one with a job search specialist.

In this program, you will:  

  • develop a job search action plan
  • build a strong career portfolio and refresh your resume with support and feedback
  • practice for interviews
  • receive interview and networking coaching
  • access online learning to advance soft and technical skills
  • connect to job leads
  • engage with a supportive cohort of peer job seekers

Are you eligible?

You are eligible for Job Search Accelerator if you are authorized to work in the U.S., are 18+ years old with High School diploma or GED and if you are any of the following:

  • Working part-time
  • Recently laid-off 
  • Unemployed for 6 months or more
  • Underemployed (if you lost your job during or since the recession, and have not yet reconnected with a job commensurate with your experience)

  • JVS will review all applications and invite you to an in-person assessment interview in San Francisco to determine your eligibility.

JVS (Jewish Vocational Service) is the Bay Area’s leading non-profit job training agency with a mission to transform lives by helping people build skills and find work – at no cost to the job seeker. JVS will present Job Search Accelerator on an ongoing basis.

JVS was awarded $6.4 million over four years from the Department of Labor to create a new and innovative program to help long-term unemployed individuals build in-demand skills and find work with great Bay Area businesses.

This free program is funded by the federal government. The primary goal is to help people improve their skills, and find and keep jobs. In order to learn what works, the federal government is conducting a study requiring every eligible person to be selected through a lottery system. Those not selected through the lottery will not be able to participate in this program, but will be able to enroll in any other JVS services or programs for which they are eligibleClick here to read Frequently Asked Questions about the lottery.

Your application and interview have no bearing on the lottery results. Veterans are exempt from the lottery.
