Our Math Corps tutors are placed at one school, and work with a caseload of students every day. They tutor their students in pairs or trios for at least 90 minutes weekly using structured math interventions.

AmeriCorps Eligibility

Math Corps is a national service program
with AmeriCorps. Please respond to the questions below to confirm
you meet the minimum qualifications to serve with AmeriCorps.

Will you be 17 years of age or older by the start of your service?
To meet eligibility requirements to serve in Math Corps, you must be at least 17 years of age. If offered a position, you will be required to provide proof of age. 17 year olds must have guardian permission. *
Which of these reflects your status in the United States?
To meet eligibility requirements to serve in AmeriCorps programs, such as Math Corps, you must be either a citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States. If offered a position to serve, you will be required to provide proof of this status. *
Will you have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent by the start date?
To meet eligibility requirements to serve in AmeriCorps programs, such as Math Corps, you must have at least a high school diploma or its equivalent.
