Want to be part of the Young Professionals Advisory Council (YPAC)?

The YPAC meets virtually by webinars and conducts individual and group projects to further the mission of SHRM. Term of service is one year, and can be extended for one additional year (for a maximum of two years) provided that certain requirements are achieved.

If selected, your commitment will begin on January 1, 2018 and conclude on December 31, 2018.

By completing the application, you are agreeing to serve on SHRM's YP Advisory Council to the best of your ability and:

  • Participate in at least 75% of YPAC webinars and sub-group conference calls/webinars
  • Actively participate in discussion during webinars, conference calls and in online forums
  • Lead or be involved in the development of resources to advance the SHRM YP initiative
  • Provide a quarterly YPAC Member Participation Report to demonstrate your contributions

All applications must be received by October 6, 2017. Members will be selected and announced later this year.

The YPAC exists to serve the interests of SHRM Young Professional members and provide guidance to SHRM for attracting and retaining non-member Young Professionals. It also exists to ensure that SHRM YP activities are relevant to members and SHRM.
