Thank you for your interest in the Mazama Climb Program! Please complete this form if you need financial assistance towards the Mazama climb fee. At this time, we are not able to offer assistance towards permit fees, transportation, or gear/equipment.
Please note, we are drawing from limited funds for financial aid and are only able to fund up to six (6) climbs a season per person, in order to serve as many people as possible. Please only apply for up to 6 climbs at a reduced price (unless you have already canceled or were not selected on additional climbs).
Fill this form out AFTER you have applied for the climbs you need a payment adjustment for. If a certain climb's registration window has not yet opened, please wait and fill out this form for that/those climb(s) after the registration has opened and you have applied.
After you complete this form, the Mazama staff* will adjust your payment amount for this climb. All adjustments will be made Monday–Thursday during office hours. We will do our best to adjust all payments before acceptance. If you are accepted before your payment has been adjusted, you will be charged the full cost of the climb. If that does happen, please contact us at help@mazamas.org and we will refund you the amount you requested in assistance.
*Climb price adjustments will remain confidental between the applicant and the Mazama staff. We will not share your financial assistance data with climb leaders, or other volunteers. Data will be compiled anonymously and shared for informative purposes, but names and emails will not be shared.
