UK Horse Boy Camp Scholarship Application Form

Please provide as much information as possible in order to help us fully understand the needs of yourself and your family and accommodate you as best we can.

Disclaimer: Please note that completion of this application form does not guarantee you a scholarship or a place at a Horse Boy Camp. Please also be aware that we will not approve you for a scholarship if you choose to attend a camp that will largely increase your travel expenses (e.g. if you apply for a scholarship for a location that is further from your home). All payments and agreements are between you and the Independent Practitioner running the camp you choose to attend. You are responsible for paying the Practitioner the amount not covered by your Horse Boy Scholarship. Horse Boy will directly pay the Practitioner the amount funded by this scholarship. Please be advised that all camps have a cancellation policy. If you get approved for the scholarship but cancel in violation of the Practitioners cancellation policy, you agree to pay/forfit all deposits as required in the Practitioners cancellation policy and you also forfeit your scholarship. If a Independent Practitioner chooses to discontinue a camp we will do our best to find you another location to participate however scholarships cannot be redeemed as cash. Scholarships are valid for a period of 12 months only.

Before submitting this form please read the following information and check each box once you have done so. This is important information and we want to ensure that you have read and understood it fully before attending a camp.   Please check to indicate you are aware of and accept the rule below
Parents or guardians are at all times responsible for all their children. If you do not watch your children at all times we will have to ask you to leave *
You, your child and any other person you bring are required to wear proper footwear around the horses at all times. Closed toed shoes are mandatory. Exceptions can be made if your child has sensory issues upon completion of an additional liability form. *
Helmets will be provided but it is your responsibility to ensure that they are worn at all times on the horse. Exceptions can be made if your child has sensory issues upon completion of an addtional waiver. *
No riding, sitting on or handling horses or other animals unless instructed to do so by our staff. Do not climb into or otherwise enter horse pastures when horses are grazing unless accompanied by a staff member. *
No pets unless approved by our staff. Attendee is responsible for all injury to participants, staff, etc. and property damaged by their animal. *
Attendee is responsible for letting their camp leader know about any additional family members and/or friends that they intend to bring with them prior to their arrival. *
Please note that a Horse Boy Camp is not intended as a riding holiday. Your child will be given opportunities to ride on a daily basis but if your child shows no interest in the horse we will respect their communication and provide them with alternative activities. If your child is interested in riding then at an average camp they will spend between 45 minutes and an hour a half in the saddle spread out over the course of the day. Please also note that at a typical camp horses are shared and rotated between all the attendees and we cannot guarantee the same horse for your child every day. *
You are entitled to a full refund of any camp fees paid by you if you cancel your place at least 30 days prior to the start of the camp in writing. If you cancel within 30 days of the start of the camp you will forfeit both your deposit and scholarship. No credit or refund is available if cancellation takes place on the day Camp begins, if Attendee fails to arrive; if Attendee leaves the Camp early for any reason, or Attendee is dissatisfied with the Camp. Please note your scholarship is non transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The scholarship is valid for a period of 12 months. If you do not redeem your scholarship within 12 months then it is automatically forfeited. *
