Heartsaver:

This course is designed to meet AHA requirements and covers first aid basics in CPR and AED skills for adults, children and infants. This course also meets Texas Health & Human Services requirements for childcare workers.

Content:

Adult, Child & Infant CPR and First Aid

One and Two Rescuer

Foreign Body Airway Obstruction (conscious and unconscious)

Use of Automated External Defibrillation with CPR Special Resuscitation Situations.

BLS (Basic Life Support):

This course is for the certification or re-certification of healthcare providers such as nurses, nursing students, doctors, EMT, technicians, physical assistants, respiratory, physical and occupational therapist, speech therapist, massage therapists, medical or nursing students, dentists, pharmacists, dental assistants, medical school residents, home health employees, nursing homes or anyone entering the healthcare field. The BLS course will conclude shortly after the Heartsaver.
