Team Registration: 2024 Firefighters Competition

First Nations' Emergency Services Society with support from Kamloops Fire Rescue, are proud to facilitate the 39th Annual Indigenous Firefighter Competition, Training, and Banquet in collaboration with the 2024 FCABC Expo. This year's event will be held in Kamloops, British Columbia, on Saturday June 1st, 2024. This form is to be completed by the Fire Chief (or designate) on behalf of the team.

BC First Nations Fire Department members are invited to participate in two days of interactive training prior to the Competition as well attend the BC Fire Chiefs Expo following the Competition. For safety reasons, training days will be exclusive to Fire Department members only. Shuttle buses will be provided to and from the hotel for participants on training days.

Day 1 Training with FNESS & Kamloops Fire Rescue: May 30th, 2024

Day 2 Training with FNESS & Kamloops Fire Rescue: May 31st, 2024

Competition Day: June 1st, 2024

Fire Chiefs Expo: June 2nd, 2024

Registration
Each team needs to submit this “Competition Team Registration Form.” Team Captains/Fire Chiefs are responsible for the completion of this form. Additionally, the team must submit the following registration forms: General Consent Form, Photo Release Form, and the Declaration of Fire Department Membership. These forms must be signed and uploaded to the formsite registration form or emailed to fireservices@fness.bc.ca or Alisha Juma (ajuma@fness.bc.ca).

*Please note: There is a maximum allowance of one team per community for registration. This policy is subject to change.
