2024 Rural Health Equity Conference
May 6-7, 2024
New Orleans, LA

The National Rural Health Association has scholarship funds available for students and community members with a critical need for financial support with conference expenses.  Scholarships will be awarded on to people who meet the eligibility criteria specified on the enclosed application form, and who are unable to attend the 2024 Health Equity Conference without such support. Scholarships are only available for those attening the in-person conference.

In an effort to foster collaboration within communities, scholarships will be given to students and community members working in health care. The scholarships will help expose these recipients to health issues and encourage their participation in resolving these issues through positive solutions.

The scholarship is to help offset the cost of the conference registration fee, hotel accommodations and travel expenses.  The total individual scholarship award will be $1,200.

Scholars selected are expected to provide their own funds to pay for their remaining expenses, including registration.  Scholarship recipients will be notified of their award upon receipt and review of the application. Scholars will receive their award once they arrive at the conference.

Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will be awarded scholarships on a first-come, first-served basis until all funds have been committed.
