Postmates/ JVS Job Search Accelerator

Program: The Job Search Accelerator is a free 36-hour intensive program of job search essentials and strategy training to learn how to effectively prepare to apply and interview for the job you want.  After completing the in-person coursework, you’ll have access to one-on-one career advisors, ongoing weekly group support, mock interviews, LinkedIn profile, and resume reviews, and peer network access.  All services are at no cost to you.

Start Date: April 5th, 2019 
End Date: April 18th, 2019
Location: JVS San Francisco, 225 Bush Street, West Lobby
 

The April cohort will meet during the following times:

  • Orientation: Friday, April 5th – 9:00 am – 1:30 pm (with optional tech office hours available as needed afterwards)
  • Day 1: April 8th   – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Day 2: April 10th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Day 3: April 12th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Day 4: April 15th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Day 5: April 17th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Day 6: April 18th – 9:00 am – 4:00 pm (Mock Interviews, Program Debrief, Graduation)
Eligibility requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 18+ years old
  • Authorized to work in the United States
