Highland Community College reserves the right to cancel this transportation for any reason, including inclement weather. In the case that HCC cancels the transportation, all students will have a full refund of transportation fee to their account. Students will be notified through the email that they sign up for transportation with. HCC will make every effort to notify students as soon as possible.

The undersigned students, employees, and invitees of Highland Community College, being 18 years of age or older, acknowledge that they have signed up for above named transportation, and that this service is voluntary on their part. The undersigned therefore assume all risk incident to the above listed transportation, including travel to or from such place of service and acknowledge that Highland Community College, its Board of Trustees, its employees and the State of Kansas assume no liability, including financial responsibility for injuries or losses resulting from or occurring during transportation. The undersigned further indemnify, release, and hold harmless Highland Community College, their Board of Trustees, their employees, and the State of Kansas against any loss or injuries resulting or claimed to result from the undersigned students’/employees’ training or other involvement in any and all phases of transportation. The undersigned further acknowledge that their signatures hereto evidence that they have read, fully understand, agree with and consent to the contents thereof.
