All groups wishing to hold meetings, receptions, or special events in conjunction with the AAG 2018 Annual Meeting should complete this form and submit to the AAG. Following the submission deadline, the contact person listed below will be emailed by the AAG of the date, time, and location of the event. The AAG suggests reviewing the conference schedule prior to selecting your event date. Each group will be responsible for all fees for its event including food, beverage, labor, audio visual services, and decorations. Group meeting will be held in one of two spaces, The Marriott French Quarter New Orleans and the Sheraton Sheraton New Orleans. Space is available April 10, 8:00am – April 14, 5:00pm.
New this year, all meeting requests will be REQUIRED to pay EITHER a meeting room rental administrative fee or an AV package fee. If your event is for meeting space only, then you will pay $50 for the administrative fee. If your event requires any audio-visual equipment (screen and projector), you must then pay $350. The $350 covers the cost of the basic AV equipment in your room.
The only groups who are exempt from this requirement are the officially recognized AAG Specialty and Affinity Groups and any group ordering more than $1000 in Food and Beverage, per event, from either hotel. Groups will be invoiced for their fees once the meeting request has been finalized.
