Benefits for San Francisco Bay Area Local Crew Paid Positions
ALL Paid Positions will include:
• Payment for every day worked at each event.
• Ability to work behind the scenes at exciting events in the San Francisco Bay!

• The feeling of accomplishment and ownership regarding the success of Clean Vibes.
• The rewarding experience of working as a team to spread the Clean Vibe through:
◦ Helping to educate the community of event patrons.
◦ Minimizing the negative impact of events on the land and San Francisco Bay Area.
◦ Helping to divert as much waste as possible from local landfills.
◦ Providing event patrons with the tools and knowledge to participate in helping to keep the scene clean.
◦ Assisting in the process of providing spaces for a communities to gather in a safe and healthy environment.
San Francisco Bay Area LOCAL CREW MEMBERS
All applicants for local San Francisco Crew MUST be local to the Bay Area and:
• Have reliable transportation to San Francisco and be available 6-18 hours per week including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather.
• Be able to consistently lift 50-75 lbs and work on foot for several hours each day.
• Be committed to recycling and composting and enjoy working as a team while getting a little dirty.
• Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks (no experience with waste management necessary).
Clean Vibes San Francisco Bay Area LOCAL CREW MEMBER Responsibilities:
• Set up and place collection stations and appropriate signage throughout the event site.
• Service collection stations within designated area and sweep event grounds and bus tables of all litter, including "microtrash," throughout the event.
• Sort waste to maximize diversion and maintain level of cleanliness within designated area at all times.
• Clean site following the event as well as break down, clean and pack up all Clean Vibes materials and supplies upon site clean up completion.
• Be educated and informed about recycling and composting in San Francisco in order to pass this information and the event waste management system and diversion efforts on to patrons and other event staff.
• Educate, motivate and participate by encouraging patrons to become more involved in the waste management process
• Represent Clean Vibes in a professional, positive, and responsible manner.
