Southern Downs Neighbour Day Competition 2022

Neighbour Day is Sunday 27 March - the theme for Neighbour Day 2022 is 'Connecting Communities for 20 years’.

For 20 years’ Neighbour Day, Australia’s annual celebration of community, has been encouraging people to connect with those who live in their neighbourhood with the aim of fostering strong personal connections that last the whole year round.

There are many different ways to participate in Neighbour Day, whether it’s big or small – it all contributes to building respectful relationships, sustainable connections and reducing loneliness in our communities. You can organise an event on your own or work with a group of neighbours.  Decide what is manageable for you.

Be sure to register your event on the Neighbour Day website to access lots of FREE resources to assist you with your event.
