We need your help to update our records!
As a member of Phi Alpha Delta living or practicing in the NYC area, you are eligible to participate in events organized by our Chapter. The New York City Alumni Chapter is one of the oldest, largest and most active alumni chapters in our Fraternity. Our annual FlyAway/SailAway event is an award-winning program that has resulted in the honary initiation of a U.S. District Court Judge, the President of the Intrepid Sea-Air-Space Museum and the Mayor of Las Vegas.
In 2006, the PAD FlyAway traveled to New Orleans to assist the victims of Hurricaine Katrina. Our efforts received national media attention.
Every year we strive to expand upon our successes by offering new programming, additional benefits and services to our members in the NYC area. With more than 285,000 members, Phi Alpha Delta is the second largest professional legal organization in the United States. Approximately one out of every six attorneys in North America is a member of Phi Alpha Delta, Law Fraternity International. (Click Blue Links for more information)
In the near future we plan to offer special programs for active NYC Alumni members who respond to this e-mail. These programs include meetings, travel opportunities, CLE programming, case referrals, panel discussions and other social and professional events.
Private invitations to participate in these programs and other special events will be sent only to those NYC Alumni members who update their information through this survey.
There is no financial obligation on your part to become an "Active" member of the NYC Alumni Chapter. The NYC Alumni Chapter's budget is derived exclusively from fund-raising efforts and by generous members who pay their voluntary $20 annual dues to our Chapter.
Some of the programs the NYC Alumni Chapter is looking to offer our most loyal members include:
- Continuing Legal Education
- Case Referral Program
- Law Student Intern Program
- Law Student Research Volunteers
- Career Planning Services - Employment Postings
Please take a moment to update your contact information and complete the survey below to help us with this most important project.
I appreciate your anticipated cooperation and look forward to meeting you at one of our future events.
Please do not hesitate to contact me privately if you have any questions or if you would like to assume a leadership roll in our fine organization.
Fraternally,
Mike
